Montarra Grill | Algonquin

Montarra feels the part of a swanky Chicago hotspot right here in the Northwest Suburbs. As you enter, you are welcomed by a blue Chihuly chandelier and a relaxing twenty-foot water wall. Step into the bar for hand-crafted drinks, an extensive wine list, and small bites that are perfect for a light meal or splitting a few plates with a girlfriend.

Cary Ale House | Cary

Near the Metra tracks, Cary Ale House is a great place to grab a beer along side an order of cheese curds. The gastropub is pouring up craft brews and specialty drinks and serving delicious craft food indoors and outdoors. Daily Specials are available for appetizers, beer, wine and drinks, including $4 mimosas on Sundays, a myBAB favorite!

Tapas Calpe | Cary

Located inside the Orchard Prime Meats shop, Tapas Calpe is a unique blend of a neighborhood wine bar and tapas restaurant. It’s charming and inviting, a perfect spot to meet for a bottle of wine and small plates after work. Every Wednesday & Thursday evening 4-6 p.m. they feature wine, craft beer, import beer, and tapas plate specials.

1776 Restaurant | Crystal Lake

Newly remodeled, the farm to table restaurant and wine bar brings a chic vibe to this community gem. The menu is creative and the wine selection is outstanding. The fine dining selections are friendly for any dietary needs. Stop in on Wednesday nights for half-priced bottles of wine.

da Baffone | Crystal Lake

Providing you with an intimate setting, the Italian restaurant is a fun place to start your night. With their authentic menu, homemade sangria, and decor, you’ll feel like you’re on the streets of Italy. We love to make it to Happy Hour {from 4 to 6 p.m. available Tuesday-Thursday} for $5 small plates and drink specials in the bar.

Duke’s on the Water | Crystal Lake

A new edition this spring, Duke’s on the Water brings its local and sustainable menu lakeside. While the menu and bar selections are limited, the atmosphere makes this a go-to. Outdoor seating, Adirondack chairs in the sand, fire pits, and sand volleyball bring all the relaxation you need after a long day or week.

Jasters Raw Bar and Bistro | Crystal Lake

Inside the 100-year-old building, you will find a quaint and hip bar that offers 14 beers on tap, a specialty cocktail menu, and small plates. Thursdays are a myBAB favorite with $8 glasses of Chandon champagne!

Kumi Sushi| Crystal Lake

You may have noticed this restaurant at the end of a strip mall off of Route 31. If you haven’t stopped in yet, Kumi Sushi offers a cool vibe and ambiance that makes this a local favorite for sushi and cocktails.

M Supper Club | Crystal Lake

Across the street from 1776 and a block from Jasters, M Supper Club is the newest restaurant serving up distinguished drinks in a relaxing, upscale atmosphere. Featured cocktails are $10 that are shaken or stirred, or boozy shakes. If it’s been that kind of day, make sure to get a warm garlic bollo roll to soak up the alcohol.

Mixteca Restaurant & Tequila Bar | Woodstock

Situated in a storefront location, Mixteca is small but mighty. Belly up to the bar for tequila tasting or handmade margaritas that are oh so refreshing! The menu features Mexican dishes with fresh and organic ingredients with Happy Hour daily from 4-6 p.m.

Happy dining and drinking!
